Youth Guarantee is the European plan to fight youth unemployment.
The European Union has allocated funding for the States with unemployment rates above 25% (including Italy) to be invested in training courses, active policies of orientation, support and assistance for job placement.
Goal: ensure that young people can find a job or a training course within 4 months after becoming unemployed or leaving the formal education system.
The target audience: young people called NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training), boys and girls who do not work and do not study. The age is between 15 and 24 or 29 years old.
