Description
For a leading company that produces industrial control and automation systems we are searching for a senior Quality Engineer.
Main duties:
- Prepare Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) defining the extent of quality control inspection and criteria to be used for each major item or commodity of a project.
- Travel as necessary to properly support all quality activities for assigned projects in relation to KO/PIM meetings, supplier development, inspections, training of inspectors and project specific concerns.
- Carry out the checks to subcontracting procedures (painting / pickling / passivation/ NDT/ Welding) before / after sending to costumer.
- Responsible for all quality aspects of assigned projects, determine and define quality requirements, maintain and completion of project records.
- Experienced as well as inspector in packaging and testing activities of main Items (Assembling & Testing Activities - Final Quality Inspector - Inspector and Punch List clearance coordinator - Material and Packaging Inspector - Document controller - Attend and Witness FAT activities of the above including Welding, NDT, PMI, Painting/Coating, Function testing, Hydrostatic testing, Gas testing and Flushing/cleaning , Electrical test for High/low tension , dielectric test, continuity test).
- Verification of workmanship in accordance with the project specification and standards, ensuring that suppliers/vendors fulfil all inspections safely and in in accordance with the PO and approved ITP.
- Depth experience of reviewing and carry out of MRBs, and other project quality documentation.
- Be the interface with the customer quality.
- Define and monitor correct execution of the project quality plan.
- Review Quality Documents of Vendors and approve Technical Bid Evaluation
- Ensure Project Quality plan application, supporting the project teams to prepare gate reviews & follow up related action plans.
- Support PM to build the files for Gate Reviews based on verified evidence.
- Ensure quality of the modifications made during the project.
- Control project deliverables compliance through inspection and audits - to authorize presentation / delivery to customer.
- Actively collaborate to resolve any issue involving Project Non-Conformances and warranties on commodities manufactured inhouse factory or supplier works.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a science on technical related field or Diploma from a mechanical/electrical industrial technical institute or certifications in the Quality Control area with previous experience within Quality Offices
- Knowledge relating to company quality materials and processes deriving from study/internship experiences and/or work experience.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken is mandatory.
- 10+ years of work experience in Quality or regulated industry
- Precision skills, attention to detail, analysis, and synthesis skills
- Strong propensity for interpersonal relationships necessary to deal with colleagues, customers, institutions.
- Knowledge to Standard as ISO , ASME , AWD, API , ISO, EN , ASTM , ATEX ,IECEx , PED
- Preferred certification:
NDT II Level per EN 473/ISO9712/SNT TC 1A (VT - PT - MT - RT - UT)
