Il lavoro consiste nella guida del mezzo autocompattatore, sia con mezzo ad aggancio diretto del cassonetto che con mezzo che richiede spostamento manuale. Si richiede la disponibilità al lavoro su turni sia giornalieri che notturni, compreso il sabato mattina, per un monte ore complessivo di 38 settimanali. Si richiede disponibilità a straordinari in giorni festivi nel caso di eventi pubblici che richiedano un presidio particolare.
